Yeah, well as I said the Q1 results were perhaps a bit worse than expected, but WDC's outlook seemed better than I expected, and better than I've heard out of any other NAND maker. I'd say the Q1 information was supportive of a call that the cycle has bottomed. I don't think WDC's Q1 were negative enough to cause any meaningful price decline, so we won't know if the bad news was priced in (the WDC news wasn't too bad).

Now we gotta see whether the NAND bit prices stabilize, or fall bigly again in Q2. WDC is down to about break even EPS levels, and perhaps negative free cash flow, and a decent chunk of WDC's inventory is now valued at zero. If things stay sour it begins to enter the "blood in the streets territory", although it's not even close yet......
