am also thinking about the effect on population holding the papers necessary for MMT, both the ones w/ savings and working or not, and the ones w/o savings and no active income except transfer payments, and suspect the experience at micro level may be quite different

given that irrespective of governance systems, it is in every sense majority rule with very few sustainable exceptions, the majority would always favour QE/MMT or variation there of, except perhaps Switzerland and Yap Island, the former because they suspect the truth, and the latter because they would run out of stone wheels and have to ship in more raw material to make more wheels - a laborious process en.wikipedia.org
