This could pop quite high; up into the mid-20's even. I would be selling at that point even though it might stay up there for a while if it goes that high. I'm not getting overly excited; I see this as purely a speculative buy on potential thing. The reality is that we are quite a bit away from any real revenue streams coming. WAVO is a similar speculative company; lots of potential, great backers, and a long way away from implimentation.

Did anyone see the blurb in Newsweek this week in the CyberScope section about ISP's possibly getting charged connection fees which would mean that we would be paying per minute costs for our internet connections. If they do this, it is goodbye internet. There is no way you will ever get a new world if the mainstream can't afford being on the thing. This is a legislative thing, and I figure that all the big businesses and the entire tech economy would fight this battle against the telcos. Telcos are the old way of doing things. We would have a great situation if they just dismantled the telcos completely and replace the whole infrastructure with a new computer based system. Telcos are the horse and buggy and ADSL is just a j-rigging of the doggy system until a better thing comes along. 50 years from now, telcos will be like the whaling industry. If it could only be true what I say! It seems the telcos are the narrow lanes of the interstate. Everyone else sees we need to be past the current bottleneck to go to the next stage. I still figure we are 5 years away from getting what we need and that is assuming someone doesn't do something stupid legislatively.
