ALYA Signs a Distributor Contract with Facility Robotics, Inc.

Palo Alto, CA. -January 20, 1998 - - ALYA International, Inc. ("ALYA"
or the "Company") announced today the signed distributor contract with
Facility Robotics, Inc. an automation & systems integrator. Facility
Robotics will be licensed to market, sell and distribute ALYA's
O.P.E.N.centrixT security system. Facility Robotics is a leader in the
Southeast United States in the Systems Integration field providing
complete "turn-key" installations of microprocessor based systems for
use in Building and Industry Automation applications since 1981.

In announcing the distributor agreement, ALYA's Vice President of
Marketing, Mr. Patrick Rowley commented: "Facility Robotics commitment
to ALYA is a further confirmation of the ALYA technology and strategy
of selling through authorized resellers. We are excited to have
Facility Robotics as a partner, their expertise in applications for
the Financial Sector and Telecommunication markets will have major
impact on sales in the U.S."

ALYA's system release one of O.P.E.N.centrix for the distributors will
be at the '98 AHR Expo on January 19th to 21st, 1998 in San Francisco.
The O.P.E.N.centrix security system will be demonstrated and its
interoperability with third party devices and lighting controls at the
ALYA booth. The LonMark Interoperability Association will be
displaying ALYA devices at their booth. The '98 AHR Expo is the
largest North American Building Automation show with over 1000
exhibitors including Honeywell Inc.(R), Landis & Staefa, Inc.(R),
Johnson Controls, Inc.(R) and Echelon Corporation (R).

ALYA International, Inc. (NASDAQ/OTC Symbol: ALYA) is a leader in
