Other than VADXX, there are a few other plastic-to-oil operations. I looked at PK Clean which apparently changed its name to Renewlogy. On their website their latest news is the deal with Sustane from two years ago to build a plant so apparently Renewlogy took a break from trying to get investor money as well.

Usually these plastic-to-oil operations keep the stories somewhat fresh to keep investors interested so it's odd that every one of them seems to be winding down at the same time. Did these plastic-to-oil companies finally run out of investors willing to part with their money?? The PT Barnum theorum would postulate that new plastic-to-oil investor money availability correlates to birth rate. Maybe the current supply of unwary investors has been exhausted and the plastic-to-oil operations all need to take a break until new babies grow up into investors.
