The alarming thing is the abuse of power by Obama, Holder, Lynch, Comey, Hillary, Clapper, Brennan, Strokz, Mueller, Schiff, Rosenstein, and on and on and on. The Democrats are 100% corrupt and now they've embraced the destruction of the Freedom of Speech and the evils of Cultural Marxism, Socialism, and Communism. There is nothing worth saving in the Democratic Party.
You know, Brumar, I don't mind that you don't like Trump. I know he can be a bit extreme and offensive a lot of the time. In fact, I don't like cult of personalities myself either. I think cult of personalities leads to leader worship and Dictatorships. So have at it with your attacks on Trump. It shows you can be independent minded, though I personally disagree with many of your complaints about Trump. I get it because I also am a centrist, independent, and registered as "Unaffiliated" to any party.
However, what I don't get is how you go from there to being aligned with the Democrats. That makes no sense to me at all. The direction they want to take this country in is guaranteed to destroy us. Look at San Francisco. This is a place that has fully implemented all the ideals of the Democratic Socialists. The result is a once beautiful and eclectic city is now a literal cesspit of shit, piss, and needles with a massive homeless and poverty stricken population on the one side, and a massively rich and elitist small group of people who own all the real estate on the other side. This is what Socialism does. Then you have California as a whole, Los Angeles, New York, Venezuela, Cuba, and on and on. We already have plenty of evidence to look at to see what Democrat policies do to cities, states, and countries. Why in hell would you support guaranteed destruction of your country? That is simply insane or willfully and self-loathingly nihilistic.
I get your disdain of Trump. I am a perpetual skeptic of all political leaders too, but becoming a Democrat with all that entails? You have gone off the deep end and are letting your hatred of Trump blind you to everything else that matters. That makes you an ideologue, not a pragmatist. That is what separates us. |
