v1.6 Software Upgrade Helps Stability.

DirecPC-Navigator is the Program which installs and manages your regular modem ISP to Satellite Binding, and Links to Browsers and other Internet Client Applications. The old v1.4 was a NIGHTMARE, but they recently offered v1.6 definately fixes about 90% of my previous grips and other configuration problems. It does NOTHING to improve performance, which basically confirms my previous posts regarding bandwidth sharing. I have yet to upgrade to their PCI version of the Card that they offer when you upgrade to the "Duo" system which combines both Internet Access and Satellite TV reception all on the same dish. I would only upgrade to "Duo" if and when they offer it free to existing customers. It's bad enough that I'll have to reinstall both the Dish and Computer side of this product to get Satellite TV to have the priviledge of them charging me another $40 per month to keep it. To then pay ANOTHER $200 or so dollars for the hardware needed to do the upgrade is an insult. Regular Cable TV company tuner boxes cost them $300 a pop, and you don't pay for that, you just pay for the subscription. Here I'm doing the installation and paying for the Hardware before I pay my first monthly bill?! You gotta be kidding...
