yeah Thunderbird! My AT@T email [*****@sbcglobal.net]could no longer be accessed via my Yahoo email page online. The AT&T phone help finally gave me a new password. Didn't work with Windows 10 mail, but a brief installation of Thunderbird [ignoring the Win10 warnings] made it work. All Thunderbird needed was an email address and the password. It found the correct servers by itself.

A few minutes after installation it had downloaded all my incoming emails and asked for a donation [gladly given via paypal].
PS: AT&T had sent the status of the attempted recovery for the account I could not access to the account I could not access.

Have a good Sunday
Gottfried
