Trump weighs in on Kentucky Derby upset: 'The best horse did NOT win'

President Trump on Sunday blamed "political correctness" for the decision to disqualify the Kentucky Derby's first-place finisher, claiming that the best horse did not win.
"The Kentuky Derby decision was not a good one," Trump said on Twitter a day after the event. "It was a rough and tumble race on a wet and sloppy track, actually, a beautiful thing to watch."

Country House, a horse with 65-1 odds to win, was named the winner on Saturday in the annual event's first-ever "inquiry ruling."
Race officials made the decision after disqualifying Maximum Security for straying from his position and moving further toward the outside of the track on the final leg. The move cut off several competitors from passing him, officials ruled.
