NCMountainGirl In light of Trump's tweets about the Kentucky Derby, I want this story to become known to animal lovers everywhere. As a publicity tie in to his Atlantic City casinos, Trump bought a two year race horse named D. J.Trump, a colt with an excellent pedigree. Trump thought he knew more about racehorses than his trainer, who he browbeat into bringing the animal along too fast. That included insisting the colt be worked when it had a fever and the trainer advised rest. The colt foundered and almost had to be put down. Trump declared the colt and trainer "losers" and thankfully lost interest in the sport before he could maim more horses through his arrogance.
