Near term in my view the top is in and we correct for a few weeks. Should see the SPX get down to the 200 dma before being bought. This is the scenario if the trade talks are merely delayed but still hopeful otherwise we will be looking at much lower targets. We should see a nice summer rally from there into fall but my longer term view is really bearish. I expect the economy is going to slow down drastically or even hit a recession in 2020 and this will pop the credit bubble. The market tends to sniff out a recession 4-6 months in advance, so I would be looking to get out of my long term positions towards the end of the year. Of course all of this has to be watched from a timing perspective, but I would be very careful fall onwards.
