The question I am asking is how much capability is available to the end user in an easy to use manner. The parts indicated in the first question are basic parts of the SQL3 language, and can be used to easily extend the data types, with or without usage of other Datablades (or other specific vendor solutions). Are any the parts I listed included in a current or near future version of Sybase? Or is Sybase limited to only VAR developed solutions?
