| The ideas here aren't well understood. Reorganize? Perhaps a website is the only answer ... many different aspects apply, and SI isn't really meant for this. It's a chat site, mostly.
If the header was divided into sections, with relevant posts (links) added to each as they occur [eg. Energy 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.]

 — Energy
 — Complexity
 — Mass behavior
 — Economics
 — Survival

Elsewhere, some have posted comments about complexity. But as it applies to climate and mass behaviour, comments are inaccurate.

 — Mass behaviour, for example, is fractal. There's no "new" mass behaviour. From flight to fright and everything in between (manias, evasion, negotiation, combined behaviours, etc.) it's all just self-similar iteration. The particulars are different through time -- history NEVER repeats -- but when the situation re-occurs, mass behaviour repeats.

 — Is it understood that climate change will eventually cause the demise of capitalism? Not trade —capitalism.

 — Energy: is it clear? No energy = a lifeless planet. Excess energy = growth and profit. Balanced energy = stasis. Insufficient energy = decline and death.

 — Is it understood that as climate change costs increase, GDP decreases? Tax revenues decrease?

 — Weather is fractal. There is no "new" weather —and weather is how climate is expressed. Temperature, precipitation, winds -- nothing new. Climate change means new proportions of weather, driven by energy.

 — In complexity, when a new regime is established, the attractor changes. In the new regime, the new attractor is the new range of variations. Climate -- and climate change -- is a complex adaptive system driven by energy inputs. The attractor is changing -- meaning new weather extremes.
