Let's try being honest. The crackdown on social media is coming because of the recent white nationalist terror attacks on synagogues and mosques. You're right, I DO think that;s a good thing. You otoh think white nationalists being able to trumpet attacks they're making is an important free speech issue. Because white nationalists have an important message they need to make everyone see.
