ROKU! Holy cow, can't believe it's been that long since I last posted here. Coming out of the woodwork now to simply say that while I'm a lot older than I was when I started this trading thread back in the 90s, the thrill is just the same when you find a rocket ship of a stock: ROKU. Purchased on Xmas eve at $27/shr. Now hitting $80. But better yet, I'm very bullish on their future and actually hoping that they do not get bought out by a Disney (which makes so much sense) or Apple. If ROKU can continue to capture market share in this new vertical and maybe even progress to content ... if they wanted to, we could be looking at a mega appreciation beyond $80/shr. Management is solid, proven and growing business the right way. I'm still looking for a opportunities to hedge this play given the recent rise but I won't be selling my core position any time soon.
