I don't think its just you all--I know plenty of people with older Apples or other phones. They simply don't feel a need to upgrade every two years any more, just as a lot of people never wanted to upgrade from Windows XP. If it does what you want it to do as quickly as you want it, why switch? That is one of the biggest dilemmas of hardware companies. Gamers generally want to upgrade because new games often require better and faster specs to take advantage of all the newfangled things that they put in them and perhaps when AR and VR become more prevalent as well as 5G, many more upgrades will become necessary.
