Let's put together all issues under discussion labelled "Trade War:

1) Trade Issues

2) Intellectual Property

3) Technology Transfer

4) Opening the China Market.

5) State Owned Enterprises

6) Navigation on the South China Sea

7) Breaking Iranian embargo

Let's focus only where it affects Huawei. China will not compromise on 2), 3) and the US will not let 7) go unpunished.

DJT keeps hinting that he can cut a deal with China in 1) and 4). That is what the negotiations are all about.

The US will not make concessions on 2) and 3).
