Hey Mike that was fun, somebody really spent some time working that one out.

Cost pushed ahead today to $45.50. Pretty impressive, apparently the street listens to the analyst bull sentiment and not my bearish ramblings <g>. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't just shove all my dough into mutuals and let the pros make the money for me, but where's the fun in that? I think Mat said that once too and he knows this stuff far better than I, now where does that leave me?

Paul makes an interesting point in the post above this one when he alludes to the trading of Cost. I was staring at the five year graph the other day and noted that the wild swings in 94, 95 and part of 96 ended with the stock trading in a pretty tight pattern, relatively speaking, up to the present day. There have been 5 to 6 dollar swings (at the most) as the stock appreciated more in one year since it's drop to 13 in late 94 - 95. If the analyst are being conservative and Cost continues to do as well or better as it has in 97 then look out momma!
