Well, they try to shame you, but in my book, gender shouldn't even come into the equation. It should be about performance. Full stop. This desire of the left to persecute white males especially is virtue signaling of the worst sort. They should use their energy to lift people up, not tear down a singular group. In the past, when one group of people targeted another for the color of their skin or their gender, we would have called that racism or misogyny. How is targeting white males any different? That's libtard thinking for you. They'll put out the fire by pouring gasoline on it.
