David, I AM impressed! Thanks for the kudos... the others on this thread certainly deserve them. It sounds like you have noticed the same thing I have... VIX bottoms when DOW peaks... in the short term. I think Barbara was the one who mentioned MAs on VIX first... I am still testing various indicators on it and it is too early to say what is best! Bill
