You are getting too far ahead of me on this but I offer the following to further confuse the issue. I used Dow Jones Market Analyser PLUS a few years ago. It was written by RTR Software the company that publishes Technifilter. My notes from that time show they cauculated CCI as follows.

(H+L+C) - Simple MA of (H+L+C) X 67 divided by
Simple MA of ( Abs ( (H+L+C) - Simple MA of (H+L+C) ) )

Default MA = 10

Just one more programs method. I can not recheck this without reloading the program.
