The difference between FOX and the MSM is FOX is a cable News network which requires a subscription. Canadian news outlets do gather news from FOX their source is CNN, MSNBC or NBC ect. When it comes to false stories they are easily detected in the reporting or cometary on talk shows.
Listen closely to the difference between Hanity , Lavine making direct statements, or others on FOX and Rachael Maddow, Don Lemon or other left wing media who apotheosizes most statements with If. Should , Could, Expect , Think , May or make the statement in the form of a question, and a group of other words which protect from possible Law suits.
As they are either aware or know what they are saying may not be true as reported or Know it is false . CNN failed to check and verify the story they reported of the Boy in the Red MAGA hat. But ran with it anyway as it appeared Trump negative. Seemed a safe bet the boy would not react. But he did call them on their false report. CNN is now facing a $275 Million Law suit from him.

CBC in Canada is a government News outlet with Union people as has Global. Unions are Left wing so they, LIke it of=r not have a bias. Facebook owned by a Democrat promotes leftist agenda. Conservative reporting represents less than 20% of their news publication.
I know form a lot of your previous posts you try to have an open mind. But like one of my sons who believed news reports when his only source of news in the evening is CNN and the Canadian networks. Never heard of the positives taking place in the USA. His views drifted extremely Trump negative. I paid for a 1 year subscription of FOX to be added to his TV viewing. As he began watching Tucker Carlson , Hanity and Ingram and comparing his views reverted much more to center.
Fox has faults to and some times are as ridiculous as others But between the two most sensible people can find a balance which is much closer to truth.
Trudeau is now off to Europe to sign an accord in a first move to limit what the people can access on the Internet. (restriction of extremism and hate is the pretext) However right leaning countries like the USA are not participating. So in the future is right leaning publications and governments going to be considered Extremism ? The democrat, liberal , Greens & NDP already labeling Republicans and Conservatives the Far right and Trump an Extremist.
When people vote in elections. It is far more important to consider what could or will be lost, Rather than the promises of utopia politicians are promising.
The more citizens become dependent on government. The more regulation is introduced to accommodate the dependency. In turn freedom is reduced. Additional Laws do not increase liberty. The opposite laws curtail action which was acceptable.

Tariffs on foreign manufactured goods encourages people to purchase home made products. May be a bit more expensive but they create jobs for Americans rather than other countries. And the higher costs are off set by the increased incomes of US workers.
Trump pushing Oil production has done two things. Made the US the top oil producer in the world. adding income to government coffers. At the same time has helped to balance Supply / Demand in turn keeping prices at affordable levels. High fuel price has a direct effect on transportation costs. In turn all goods are effected my cost of movement. From groceries , books , automobiles to medical supplies and more. Even fuel it's self costs more for movement by truck , Train or Pipeline pumps.
I would not call Trump a dictator. He was elected to lead with his ideas because of his financial success. In reality that is what he id doing and being very transparent about it. Cheers
