It's a delightful subject, isn't it? I'm going to post more CCI scans at my Web site, and say whether they give results similar to WOW, SuperCharts, MSWIN or whatever. The variable CCI scan posted here yesterday matches WOW. John Sugas has a good CCI scan that matches Supercharts. The advantage of Quotes Plus is that we can have any sort of CCI scan we want.
For others reading this thread, QP scans are rarely this complicated -- they're easy to write and easy to use, on the whole. I've just gone hopelessly insane, trying to duplicate in QP some indicators and systems I use in Window on Wall Street. It may not be a noble-minded effort, because QP2's strength is its ability to do fundamental scans (your strength, too, Bob). My scans have been concentrating on TA indicators, not fundamentals. If nothing else, it's helping me learn some of the intricacies of QP's scanning language. It's a joy working with the program -- even with Pandora's box of CCI formulas wide open.
