Legacy Update

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--Legacy Storage Systems International Inc.
announced today that management is reviewing its options for the
VAST network storage server business. One alternative being
considered is the sale of the business unit.

"The level of market acceptance was not such that the company
could project the volumes necessary to sustain a viable business
unit within the Legacy structure" says David Killins, Chairman and
CEO of Legacy.

"VAST is more suitable for systems integrators who service the
narrower markets for which VAST is suitable".

Legacy Storage Systems International Inc. is an international
technology developer and data storage manufacturer providing a
broad range of network peripherals and appliances to a worldwide
market.
