almost trivial levels of insider sales as evidence that the jig was up
for this stock...

Oh, as a matter of fact, I guess I do thanks to my profits holding the stock.

Your classic bear warning sign is when the stock makes a new low and
insider sales continue unabated or even accelerate. The recent sales you cite
are comparable to the levels we saw five or six months ago (and $30 to $40
a share ago) reflecting prudent, periodic stock sales that represent a tiny
percentage of the total holdings insiders could sell.
