Regarding article above..

Jason,

First off, I believe it's a mistake to view this in terms of party. The broader scope and implications of what happened in the FISA court extend far beyond party politics and into our rights and civil liberties. We're not going to retake our country as "Democrats" or "Republicans," fighting amongst ourselves, but as Americans. Together we stand.

Anyway, this is exactly that: "Noise." It's already in Mueller’s Report; another instance where Mueller was unwilling/unable to establish an obstruction crime under the strictest interpretation of obstruction laws. This noise is just another distraction for the MSM to hyperventilate over in a continued attempt to keep the public looking the wrong direction.

It's interesting to note that Huber's investigation has been underway for a year now, with ZERO leaks. Remember how Mueller's investigation leaked every 20 minutes, and each new leak was "the beginning of the end!" as the media pounded it 24/7... and in each case, the leak turned out to be bogus and/or meaningless. That's how you run a PSY-OP, when all you can do is try your case in "the court of public opinion" because you have nothing with which to prosecute.

When you have a REAL case, you control the leaks tightly, because you're not trying to sway public opinion -- you're actually trying to build a case, so your main concern isn't polls and popularity; your main concern is that you don't tip off the bad guys.

When's the last time you heard a leak from either Huber or Horowitz? I think, logically, that suggests it's going to get serious fast once those investigations break. If they had nothing, they'd be trying to sway public opinion, the way Mueller's team did. Since they're NOT trying to sway voters, the ONLY possible purpose those investigations could serve would be if they actually have something meaningful from a legal/criminal standpoint.

I suppose we'll see. I certainly don't know -- just speculating based on the visible portion of the iceberg. My guess is that Huber and Horowitz will now hand off what they have to John Durham, who will do the wrap-up.

All I know, after looking into this in depth over the past few months, is that there's enough public knowledge available to determine that serious illegal abuses of the DOJ/FBI/CIA were indeed committed. To me, that's a crime against the American people. Using the intelligence apparatus of the United States for political purposes should bother EVERYONE, especially old-school civil libertarians. "Trump" should be irrelevant to the equation; it's about the rule of law, not whether one likes or hates Trump. We're not supposed to be a banana Republic.

If those responsible aren't brought to justice, it will mark a very dark watershed in American history. No longer a government "by the people, for the people," but a government "of the elites, for the elites," where the laws of the land only apply to "the little people," who are completely beholden to those in power.
