If you're a long term investor, like WEB, and you believe in the company business model, then entry price is relatively unimportant.
I consider myself a value investor, although I have some LTBH with low basis that I don't jettison because of the low basis.
As a value investor with price sensitivity, I do attempt to get what I consider attractive entry levels. Thus, the Tusa reference. He's been spot on with GE, I wouldn't bet against him with his analysis of MMM. I feel MMM will become an attractive blue chip at some point, just not at a PE ratio of 18 with the business model challenged at present.
I do believe a Tusa upgrade would be significant, and might be the green light for purchase. Tusa is one of the most powerful analysts on the Street.
I apologize if I have wandered off the stated mission of this thread on MMM.
