Trump's reelection prospects are great Yup - He took a risk standing up to decades of abuse by China in Trade and it looks like it may serendipitously work out for him on political arena. My point wasn’t that the Trade war isn’t harmful but that it may paradoxically improve his re-election chances. And one would be hard-pressed to find another candidate who wouldn’t have cut a sham deal with China that gives away the store, goose the markets, get a Peace Nobel as a bonus and ensure a landslide win in 2020. That’s the reason this President is unique - history will judge him differently than the current narrative and all the juvenile jokes about his past.
