Hi longhorn,

I learned about it here on SI.

That sounds right. There is a little white moth that lays eggs on cabbage. Then the cabbage loopers hatch. Immediately upon eating any cabbage with this spray on it - they stop eating.

I know it also stops the slugs. As they travel it scratches their lower sides.

It's good stuff.

We fished hard each day and came up with a near bag limit each day. We ate well and all came home with the possession limit.

We trolled with planer boards and crawler harnesses out of Oconto's city harbor.

This time of the year the Walleye are coming out of the rivers and looking for warmer water. Upon finding warmer water they get hungry.

I was fishing with three pros. Two of them I went to high school with and one of their sons. I was admittedly the weaker fisherman. I did OK on the trolling. Walleye have such a soft bite that I struggled to use my rod correctly and detect those tiny nibble bites.

Every time I go with that family - I simply try to hang in the shadows of their performance. I love the outdoors, but these guys grew up feeding the family by hard hunting and fishing.

They are both life long childhood friends. I have learned so much from them. We've always been completely different in lifestyles but always best of friends since we ere 14 years old.

We've all been successful via completely different paths taken.

It's really good to get together several times a year.

We've hunted deer, elk, moose, quail, pheasant, ducks, geese, and fished fresh water, the Gulf of Mexico and Prince William Sound. I've been the piker in all.

Life long friends don't let that bother each other.

We go again to Six Mile Lake in Minnesota on the June first. This time we pick up a childhood friend who is flying down from Anchorage Alaska.

Good times to be had!

Just a bunch of white boy Wisconsin Indians. LOL
