Sybase makes enterprise development tools and doesn't want to rely on Borland for obvious reasons -- no surprise there. The bad news is the loss of license revenue which Oracle could have pulled in and it's particularly ironic given Borland is responsible for the rescue of Oracle's failed tools effort.
