GE has over 1 billion shares outstanding. The Fonar award would be closer to 4.6% of earnings versus sales unless they are referencing a particular division. Unless they accrued $100 million under a footnote, it might be hard to find it in a company that is closer to a mutual fund than a normal company. If it isn't the GE settlement then I would look at the others but this much movement suggests a big player. I do agree with the poster that Fonar is not a $2.50 company without the GE settlement. Without settlements it has not produced a profit in about 10 years. Sales of $20 million for fiscal 96 ? Market cap today of $170 million. Find a company trading at 8 times sales in a competitive market. If people are buying purely on speculation, I hope they are using Vegas money. I tend to believe some news is the cause.
