Having lived in Boston for many years I was one of the first to enjoy Sam Adams Boston Lager in 1984 and celebrate their success in breaking down the monopoly that the large corporate brewers held over small craft beer makers... we have all benefited from the wonderful growth of independent beer makers who could then finally sell their brew to the public.

Following Jim Koch’s great-great grandfather’s recipe, Samuel Adams continued to use traditional brewing processes, including decoction mash (a four vessel process) and krausening (a secondary fermentation). Boston Lager is also dry hopped using the Hallertau Mittelfrueh and Tettnang Tettnanger hops. [4]

Unfortunately... I no longer drink Sam Adams in part because of Roundup and glyphosate...

A Federal Court has just awarded its 3rd decision against Monsanto... for *ucking up our lives.

PS In my personal opinion - for what its worth - ... I hope you don't plant hops on that field where you used glyphosate...
