T orders intelligence community to cooperate with review on Russia probe origins

Unless it affects Canada, I try to avoid US news, especially anything that amplifies idioT's stranglehold on the media. There are other places on SI for that.

But what's interesting here is the unknown extent to which the intelligence community will resist T. We know the relationship has become antagonistic, and we know T has plans to change what he portrays, essentially, as 'anti-T' bias in those agencies.

The point: In an effort to contain T's excesses, some agencies, some bureaucrats and some Whitehouse insiders, claim -- and are reported -- to be disregarding or disobeying T's instructions.

Okay, great. Vive la résistance!

But we saw what happened with border crossings early in T's presidency. Border agents began enforcing their own biases -- not the law -- and nobody in the executive branch tried to stop them. Many Canadians were treated badly.

After T, when presumably some sanity will be restored, US agencies and bureaucrats that operate independently, outside the law, might not be helpful for future presidents. Or the United States.
