Frazior: ? double bottom??? That is what I see, and a similar pattern is seen in FSAGX, XOI and many gold stocks. ALTA had a great day yesterday in view of the XAU which dropped significantly and the stockmarket which rose (often bad for gold stocks). What I have been looking at are these sharp spikes up in gold ounce at kitco.com For me, they represent shorts that are now feeling that gold has placed a low (at least for now) and that are covering in waves... of course, quickly smashed by "large dark forces" who are not interested in seeing the price of gold going up... the trend for gold is up, though, IMHO. Volatility is increasing for gold, Bollinger bands Bands are tight... there could be a sudden break in price... hopefully up (IMHO). Good luck all Gaston
