Byron, I agree with you that MPEG is unlikely to be a scam. Perhaps the IR person Mark talked to did not know all the facts. Also, it is not necessary to actually build a chip to know that it will work. I just talked to a chip expert at my company, who told me that there are very sophisticated CAD (computer aided design) and simulation tools that can predict the performance of chips before they are built. It is also possible that the stock has gone up because of the possibility that IBM, CUBE, or INTC will buy MPEG just for the chip design and patents. Mark said that he didn't like the fact that the IR person wants to know how he heard of them, and that they have multiple people answering calls. I think these things are perfectly normal, considering the recent increase in investor interest. Richard
