Kiri,

Yes, Jan 5 was the last peak for the DOW, and the closing price was actually 7978.99 (so 7980 close enough - easier for me to remember gggggg). One of my charts also show 8072, but another one shows 8035. I was watching very closely that day, since I originally wanted to play puts and never recalled 8072. Nevertheless, I am using the closing price this time. At times I will use the intraday high/low, and at times I will use the intraday high/low. It is not uniform. There is a reason why I will not be consistent on this issue, and it has to do with my calculations, so please do not ask me to explain??? ggggggggggggg

The DOW, specifically, is still in a downtrend, but I am also considering that the SPX and NAZ basicly equalled their previous peaks so I cannot, technically say that they are in a downtrend, but still consider them range trading.
