That's a great idea. I'd do the same. However, the "paint" OKON uses , I believe, is really more of a sealant than a paint. Look at the polished cement bricks you see prevalent on cheap 70's buildings-->that's the most practical way to describe Okon sealant. You could probably use Okon stuff for your the cinderblock walls in your basement. Maybe you could special order it if you couldn't get it on the east coast. Or better yet, tell the local paint shop to carry it.
