You are right in him being one of the founders and as such has taken this result the hardest. You can get to close to something, particularly if your in from the start and develop a vision, simialr to not seeing the trees through the forest. Its shear speculation but his resigning will release some pressure from investors etc. and allow for more objective input into resolving dypos product concerns.
