I've seen press speculation on auto collision avoidance systems, although it sounds a little like the "Jetsons" future right now . . . . That would be a pretty expensive system, and it would tend to take the driver out of the equation, which may be great for safety, if the technology is completely reliable, but not so great for consumer acceptance. I don't think most male drivers, at least, would be too happy with having a computer make those decisions. It's got to be many years away, if ever.
