Accurate summary. I also listened in. I found it interesting (not surprising) that the analysts pressed the Korean issue heavily. While certainly important in the short term, the QCOM story is much bigger than just S. Korea. If QCOM was a one country phenomenon I would have tuned out long ago. S. Korea is an excellent model market (their credentials), which hopefully can be duplicated many times over.

Management sounded confident and honest, but I did not get the sense that they can really see much further into the future than anyone else or can figure out the SEA situation.

All we as shareholders can ask of management is to (a) promote cdmaone as a superior and cost effective technology vs TDMA and GSM; (b) lower manufacturing costs; (c) broaden product line to include much cheaper phones; (d) open Europe with GSM overlays. Hopefully a combination of these activities will generate enough momentum over time.

Side note: I thought the voice quality of the c/c replay was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - I sure hope they were not using cdmaone anywhere in the process!!!!!!
