When you put more insulation in your attic the objective is to reduce heat loss...correct? CO2 is a better insulator than air, ie it is a poorer thermal conductor than air.... What would happen if you double the amount of CO2 in the air? See the data of CO2 increase in our atmosphere with time... The chart below shows the thermal conductivity of many gases.....CO2 is only half as thermally conductive as air...ergo?? BTW, I've taken organic chemistry...
