Charles,

I'M BACK!!! I swapped out my USR Sportster "Vi" 28.8K for the plain old reliable version and AM I HAPPY!!

You're correct in that the ERM deal is for managing constantly ongoing compliance requirements for the company. Every other Petroleum firm faces a similiar circumstance. What it says mainly is that GRNO is not going to take another chance like last time in handling its own environmental compliance needs until it is back on its feet and moving on.

You're also correct that GRNO indeed paid $150,000 several years ago in order to develop a "template" program for helping US clients obtain Air Permits in the US. They will charge $10,000 to each client for assistance in this issue. I have a copy of one of these that Bill sent me. IT is 3 INCHES thick!! (and so full of techno-speak that only the most dedicated "tree-hugger" would understand it... :0)
Ooops, there you go again Ron, offending the liberals out there... <g>
(I'm a moderate myself, which means that I'm wishy-washy)

Anyway, the Air Permits are quite lengthy and time-consuming to obtain. GRNO offers this value added service in order expedite the permitting process. The EnviroEconomics process is currently permitted in 11 states according to what Bill has told me.. And no, I don't believe that GRNO will have to have consultants in every state, however temporary assistance is likely in each unit produced. Cost of doing business.

I don't think that we'll anymore delays due to permitting problems.
The only thing that could cause any further delay would be in additional parts being obtained for the processor as they are using a new thermal oxidation system, the Thermatrix system proving lacking in service and support. This was the cause of the difficulty in Nampa, ID with Environmental Oil Services who bought a unit only to try to disassemble it when they thought GRNO was going out of business. The only difficulty was in the fuel mixture ratio to the oxidizer which caused a "backfire" effect that had nothing to do with GRNO technology. The engineering has been resolved according to Bill and another provider of the oxidizer technology with international presence has been contracted.

Thermal Oxidation is basically the process that maintains the processor operating temperature as well as permitting elimination of practically all noxious emmissions. This makes the process 100% emission free.

Regards,

Ron
