Zephyr Minerals (ZFR-V) freebie from Mr. John Kaiser gallery.mailchimp.com

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to present you with a mid year update on Zephyr Minerals Ltd.

Zephyr Minerals Ltd., may be on to one of the hottest silver-base metal plays in North America. Zephyr is probably one of only two companies with a Broken Hill type silver-base metal exploration targets in North America. This is elephant hunting. Broken Hill was the largest silver-base metal mine in the world – 300 million tons of high grade silver-lead-zinc valued at over $150 billion in today’s dollars.

Dr. Paul Spry, professor at Iowa State University, and who recently joined the Zephyr team as Technical Advisor, is a world renowned expert on the Broken Hill deposit. Dr. Spry believes that some of rocks at Zephyr’s Dawson-Green Mountain project are indistinguishable from Broken Hill. There are numerous other attributes of Dawson-Green Mountain that are the same as Broken Hill – most notably the presence of a unique mineral known as gahnite and abundant magnetite, both of which are fundamental to finding Broken Hill type deposits.

BHP (Broken Hill Proprietary Ltd.), successfully used these two key attributes in the discovery of the Cannington silver-lead-zinc deposit in Australia in 1990. Cannington a Broken Hill type deposit is huge and high grade – initially 50 M tons valued at $25 billion. This discovery was made by first identifying the target area which was rich in gahnite and then zeroing in on the drill target with magnetic surveying. Cannington was the largest silver mine, as well as the lowest cost silver-lead mine in the world until very recently.

Zephyr’s Dawson-Green Mountain project has a Broken Hill type high grade, magnetic, zinc-silver-lead showing near surface. Zephyr’s next step is to complete an airborne magnetic – electromagnetic survey this summer to identify potential large magnetic targets for drill testing. This airborne survey is expected to cost around $150,000 – this has got to be the best risk/reward profile of any North American exploration project. A drill hit on a large magnetic anomaly at Dawson-Green Mountain has the potential be as big as Cannington – and if so, with a basic share issue of approximately 50 million shares, the potential upside would be massive.

Zephyr was recently invited to the Metals Investment Forum by John Kaiser, a well known junior mining company newsletter writer. Zephyr is Mr. Kaiser’s top pick! I have attached Mr. Kaiser's research. The Zephyr presentation at the Metals Investment Forum was video taped along with an interview with Mr. Kaiser. Below are the links to those YouTube videos.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.

Loren Komperdo, P.Geol.,
President and CEO,
