To answer your question Jay..... I do not know for sure. There were posts relating a fall in stock price in some of the smaller companies in our sector, to some bad news coming from one company (sorry I forgot the name). I guess it is possible that Barron's had a hand in the price movement today, but it seems to me it would have been more drastic yesterday or Monday. I still am viewing the 3rd quarter as the report card for MRVC. The stock price can go up or down in the meantime, but if it lowers too much, it only means I will buy more.
Kenneth.... MRVC generally releases quarterly results in the last week of the month following the quarters end. So, I would imagine they will release in the last week of October.
As far as the cash position....not really meaning to be avoid the question, but how many companies the size of MRVC can just go out and acquire someone with cash on hand? How much cash do we think is reasonable for MRVC to have at any given period? I would rather see MRVC progress versus be a company that will sit back on cash without realizing future potential for their business. I do think this is an area we should be looking into. Very good question, and I have enjoyed the answers so far.
