What a farce. That's a phony workaround, after they were called on it.

Of course, the exchanges were set up for low income people, with low costs, not for highly paid congressmen and their staffs who don't qualify for it. Congress exempted their health insurance plans from the provisions of Obamacare. And instead of paying what everybody else pays, they switched to the subsidized exchange plans even though they don't qualify for them. What a farce.

"This subterfuge exempts Congress and its staff from being treated under the law the way everyone else in the country who is required to purchase insurance on the Obamacare exchanges is treated."
