S. E. Idaho is one area I couldn't get a handle on as to the degree to which the climate will change.
It will change (colder) but due to the topography of that area, the location as far as where stalled frontal boundaries could occur in the Northwest, and the altitude, it's a tough call on how extreme things might get..
You'll have to keep us informed.
