So...when you say, "we" don't know much about you, keep in mind that I have physically met and spent significant personal time with quite a few very long-time Silicon Investor members. That is why I started this board in the first place. It is why I chose SI to establish it. There is a group of people here who have developed a mutual sense of community and friendship of which I am a part. If that particular part of the past had all happened from a different website...this board would not be here...it would be there. And you would be about 6 months farther behind on the GSM/pole shift learning curve that I am over 10 years into. You're welcome...because otherwise I suspect you might have still been at 0 on the curve. Also, you know of my Olbermann/BP thing. And if you look into Ivan Solotarov/Philadelphia Magazine you might find the year long series of articles about me. But there's very little on it on the interwebs.
