Besides, Doug, there're too many other places on the web, AWA in a long list of pertinent academic studies of societal collapse, to gain the knowledge necessary to best prepare for the collapse we both know is coming. Epiphany hit me in 2007. After a multi-year self directed reading program, offered initial short book list on my thread in late December 2007. Bought this exceptionally well located property, in late 2008. Sue and I then developed it's self sufficiency potential in the years immediately thereafter. But it's hardly the only good area in the Appalachian region. Have friends in western Virginia, North Carolina and other areas who've been doing a good job of preparing for years surrounded by family, friends and/lo allied neighbors. Iso
