Socialists make the mistake of thinking collectivism and being fair and sharing and caring works when done by governments.

The fault lies mainly in that those of us who vote think all will be done well.. (well hope so) that is that problem.. Democracy needs a lot more control mechanisms 'by the people' without ending up in the often stalemate position of the US system.. Although I certainly understand that is why the US system was so designed..

Too many do not vote.. It should be a CRIME not to vote.. PERIOD.. very few extenuating circumstances that I can envision.. like the limit of 1/x as x approaches infinity :))

When I call myself Liberal.. it is in the Libertarian sense.. Not hurting anyone/anything else.. Have at it man..

as in the one thing P Trudeau said I believe in.. The government has no business in the nation's bedroom.. (He should have quit while he was ahead LOL)

Fiscally .. I am conservative.. I do not mind taxes.. we NEED often to pool our money... and capitalism while great.. and I would not live without it.. is not always the best route for some projects.. Considering the waste in large corporations.. it is obvious that it will be worse in government.. what to do ?
