Those polls were right except for 70K votes or so spread over three states. Hard to predict that. Trump has done nothing that will gain him votes this time vs last and a lot (trade wars, screwing the constitution in a number of ways, and now he's taking the side of the worst dictator on earth against our own intelligence agencies). to erode his vote count.

Let's have a rational discussion of why spying on KJU should be banned as he's publicly PROMISED to do. I want to hear the arguments on why that's not a horrible policy and practice.

Good luck (not really) running on a "No Spying on our Enemies" platform. I'm astounded that you (or any American can) support that.

Do you think we should get rid of the Electoral College and move to a national popular vote for president?

I don't care. The electoral college is in the constitution so its hard to get rid of. Though I believe individual states can adopt whatever rule they choose to allot their electoral votes how they want. The court will rule on whether they can or can't. And that's that.

it's a "I live in California, so by default I'm forced to vote for the Democrat" thing.

You can vote for whomever you want. I don't have to vote for Trump because I'm in a red state (or has been, probably won't be next time) and I never will. I also don't have to vote Democrat. But just cause we can vote the way we want, we don't get to determine that our candidate will win.
